Catalina is 17 years old and despite she is a middle class young woman, she attends one of the most prestigious and expensive high schools in the city. She believes that she is actually there thanks to a scholarship but the truth is that she studies at the Liceo Los Cerezos del Norte, because her grandfather, Matías Duque, decided so. Catalina is convinced that Matías is just her Music professor and her principal protector at the school. However, the real truth is that Catalina is the daughter of María Andrade, one of the music teachers at the school, and Fernando Duque, Matías son, who never recognized her as his child. Catalina studies her last year at school and at the same time she is the vocalist of a music band called “La Orquesta Los Reales Mix”. Catalina’s life completely changes when Matías dies on a tragic and mysterious car accident. At his funeral, she meets Santiago, Matías son, who has just arrived from Paris. This first encounter is as brief as strong for both of them. Catalina immediately falls for him; his presence and character totally captivate her. Meanwhile, Santiago can’t be indifferent to her amazing voice and astonishing beauty. While Matías death is far away from being an accident, Brenda, Santiago´s mother, decides to take over the Direction on the school in the cruelest way possible. Now that she has taken Matías out of her way, she finally succeeds in bringing her son back home. She convinces him to become the new music professor and she also sets him up with Daniela, his ex girlfriend, with whom she plans to make him marry. Ironically, these bad intentioned plans, lead to Santiago’s and Catalina’s second encounter. Inside de classroom begins a relationship derived by an inevitable mutual attraction. The impact that Santiago causes both inside and outside the classroom is evident and the war for his love will be fought by several hands. This story is about a constant fight. Catalina will take part while trying to be a singer despite her mother’s opposition, since she has dream of a more formal career for her daughter. Catalina finds in Santiago a person to love and share her dreams with. Together they’ll find obstacles in Brenda and Daniela, but most of all; they’ll have to face the possibility that they could be brothers.
