Juan Manuel Aguirre falls in love with Paz Delucci, the woman that fate wants him to serve as bodyguard. Nicolás Camacho López falls in love with Bárbara Sanín Delucci, the rebellious and spoiled young woman whom the handsome bodyguard has to protect. From that encounter on, their lives won’t be the same. As time goes by, Paz and her daughter Bárbara start to feel a growing attraction towards their bodyguards, just like they do towards the ones they are protecting, but their situations stop them from having any kind of relationship besides strictly work, at least for the first episodes. Bárbara, the snobby rebellious girl, suffers from bulimia but hides it from all the people around her. However, Camacho finds out about the situation and makes a deal with her not to tell anyone about the condition if she gets medical treatment. On the other hand, Aguirre is living different experiences with Paz DeLucci that turn their initial work relationship into something different, and starts a big conflict with their respective spouses.
