Hosted by the ex-Miss Universe runner-up Paola Turbay along with the well-known actor Julián Román, Los Alfa Ocho orchestra, a live audience and a scenography inspired by Broadway musicals, this game show broke all previously held ideas, doubling the audience levels established for a weekend show. Bailando por un Sueño, that had an average rating of 26 points during weekends, combines each of its contestants dreams that seem impossible and the ability and performance they have dancing. Each week the contestants face different rhythms and will be rated by an expert and demanding judges from the dance: the recognized dancer Nerú, the choreographer Rosanna Lignarolo, the famous actor Carlos Muñoz and the funny dancer and sportswoman Therése Leleux. At the end of every weekend, two couples will face each other to fight for their stay on the show. Besides, each broadcast has a guest star: a celebrity who will challenge the hosts with dancing to make real the dream of a charity. In the filming of the show, the newest technology in cameras and weekly changing scenery was used because the ambience is always in line with the musical genre and with the timeframe assigned for each gala.
