This story begins when the Anaya Family, owner of the once prosperous “The Prosperous Chicken” Company, receives terrible news: they are about to go broke. Trying to solve their problems, Ricardo Martín Anaya, known by all as “Ricky Martin”, decides to outsource a female general manager to restore order to their chaos. This is how we are introduced to Emilia Cabal, our heroine, a beautiful and successful woman who suffered a personal tragedy that plunged her into profound depression and who arrives to the company trying to recover her life and self- steem. Her arrival at “The Prosperous Chicken” causes a great impact. “Mechas”, the eldest Anaya sister an “Production Manager” at the company, is concerned about losing her eternal hours of free time. Milena “La Nena” Anaya, “The Sales Manager” is concerned that Emilia will discover that the company has not exported a single chicken in its history. Juan Calixto (Juan –K-Naya), “The Marketing Manager”, and half-brother of the Anayas is also scared…what will happen if it is discovered that he does not have the degrees that he has made up? Linda Kriss, his voluptuous wife, does not conceal her anxiety either: will Emilia take away her title of “Miss Prosperous”? Another member of this family who does not have peace of mind either is Tatiana Alvarado, Ricardo´s perverse and selfish wife and the company´s “Finance Manager”. When she met “Ricky”, she believed that she had purchased a life insurance policy worth millions for her and the baby she was expecting; that is why she abandoned Arturo Guevara, the love of her life and main character in this story. What she did not reckon was that on the day of her wedding, she would have to sign documents whereby she had to give up any claims on the Anaya´s infinite fortune. Since then, Tatiana has been obsessed with scheming a strategy to take over the company. When she meets with the Anaya family, Emilia is clear with her work plan: if she manages to triple the revenue in six months, she will receive 50% of the shares in the company. Emilia´s audacity is sharper than ever and her plan in officially accepted. When they don’t find anyone in par with Emilia, Tatiana decides to play her last card: Arturo Guevara, the man that Emilia had abandoned while pregnant, to marry “Ricky”. What nobody knows is that Arturo is also the man that caused the accident that changed Emilia´s life. The expected day arrives and, after several hour of uncertainty, Arturo meets Emilia face to face, Emilia innocently notices him.
