Founded in 1995, TELESET began as a small independent production company producing a couple of hours a week for the newly conceived private channels in Colombia. Sixteen years later TELESET has become one of the most important independent production companies in the country with more than 2000 hours of scripted and non-scripted programming produced for a diverse palette of national and international broadcasters.

TELESET’s telenovelas have conquered national and international audiences with humor, drama and action stories always produced with the highest quality standards. La Baby Sister, El Inutil and Juegos Prohibidos are just some examples of shows that have captivated Colombian audiences and conquered many different territories worldwide.

More than 8 years ago TELESET became the first Colombian production company to produce international TV formats in the country, and the first production company in the world to adapt reality shows to a daily strip programming grid to best fit the viewing habits of the audience.  Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Pop Stars, Survivor, The X Factor and The Power of 10 are just some of the famous international formats that TELESET successfully produced in Colombia over the past decade.

In recent years TELESET has aimed its efforts to produce 60-hour dramas with realistic and sympathetic characters, mixing a film look with the production efficiency of HD television. Rosario Tijeras, the adaptation of an internationally acclaimed novel, was our first attempt to produce a short series. It achieved great success beating audience records both in Colombia and the United States.

TELESET has been built over the strong foundation of high quality stories and high quality production values. These foundations mixed with a constant need to innovate have led TELESET to become the production company that it is today.
